My name is Aarika Smith. I specialize in residential real estate and have an Associate’s degree in Sociology, so people are my specialty. I have worked in the real estate industry for 4 years in mortgage. My husband is a native Mississippian and swept me away to his beautiful home state almost 8 years ago and I love living here! I live in Rankin County with my husband and two daughters. Born and raised in my beloved New Orleans, LA, my transition to Brandon - with its beautiful land, loving people, and tremendous opportunities - was an exciting venture for me and my family. As a proud member of the NextHome team, I provide class-A service to my clients and am committed to working hard for you and your family to work through the sometimes intimidating process of finding that special place to settle into. My customer-care approach involves working with my clients to develop goals, educating them with insights into the housing market and housing values, and proactively guiding them through the homebuying experience. My attention to detail is pretty intense; I am ready to use my fierce negotiating skills on your behalf. I combine my love for the real estate industry with my joy of helping people achieve their dreams for their family’s future. Having parents who used real estate to empower and help others, my passion for real estate grew as I quickly learned the power of homeownership as a pathway to achieving the dream of home ownership and to building generational wealth for families. I am a diehard Saints fan. I bleed black and gold and will happily engage in wisecracks with any who dare challenge the Who Dat Nation. I am a spiritual person, fun to be around and enjoy traveling, volunteering, exercising, hosting parties and events, and spending time with my family and close friends.
